Oprah Winfrey's private screening of Red Tails 2012 with Ne-Yo

On Saturday, December 3rd, Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry hosted a private screening of the upcoming movie “Red Tails” at the AMC Theater at Northpark Center in Dallas, TX. The movie is based on the Tuskegee airmen, a group of African American combat pilots during World War II, where Ne-Yo plays pilot Andrew “Smokey Salem. Ne-Yo, along with cast members: Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Elijah Kelley, Nate Parker, Tristan Wilds, and director Anthony Hemingway were in attendance.

Oprah was very impressed with Ne-Yo’s performance; so much so that she tweeted him after the screening: “@NeYoCompound you were really good and added humor to this film. I loved the camaraderie with the bro’s. Loved meeting you.”
